No he relapsed. And I wasn't dealing with it.

Relapsed? Was he on drugs?

He was a recovering heroin addict. He was clean for years before we got together. He's a fashion designer and the stress from work triggered him. He's clean now though.

Also, i'm a "out of sight out of mind" person, so if I rarely see my boo i'm likely to get bored and move in.

I mean, I will. But if it has to be a daily thing,  then that's a problem for me

I don't know a single person that's had a long term long distance relationship.

I could understand being in the military and having to punch for a little while, but I'm not understanding why two people would willingly build a relationship living 8 million miles apart .

I don't think most LDRs start off like that. I don't get people who start relationships living far apart. But some folks have to relocate for work, school or even to take care of their families. If they think they've found "the one" or truly see a future, I don't think it's that farfetched.
