Since ya talking about Loose Rap, ya think it would?ve performed better than WNAR as the 1st single since it was supposed to be originally? I was thinking about that the other day listening to the song, def would?ve been more radio friendly

I personally loved the edginess of WNAR. I've never heard something like that before. It made me highly interested in what Aaliyah has to offer, whereas before that song I was more of a casual Aaliyah fan.
But yeah, maybe a double single woulda been nice.

Same!!! WNAR was so left field, dark and edgy I was like oh shit! as a kid, just sucks the masses didn?t pick up on it... it def played a part cementing her artistry thou...  but I can def see Loose Rap as a safe option thou and maybe reaching top 20 on the charts in ?01

And I love WNAR to death.

But I respect her artistry and the fact that she just did her. It was a slick and innovative reintroduction back into music after 5 years.

I love tf out of WNAR, but I think it was too different for radio.  And I feel a way because had it not flopped, they wouldn?t have been rushed to do RTB the way they did, and maybe she?d still be alive.   

I think MTAW or Don?t Know What to Tell Ya should have been the first single.
