A lot of people ask me questions about my heritage because of my hair, etc. and all I had to go off of is what I know from others...so I wanted to get facts. I was actually surprised, I knew I have mixed heritage for a fact on my mother's side, but it was more in me than I thought it was. I was expecting 90 percent African blood tbh.

I'm also looking into the countries in Africa from where most of my heritage stems. I really want to learn more about the people and culture there.

Now when people ask me questions, I can tell give them educated answers directly from DNA. Not stuff that I heard. lol.

even those who don't have or don't think they have mixed mess should still do it, it's amazing seeing what countries in Africa my ancestors came from
