at the end of the day and the bottom line... Normani has PLATINUM plaques and Tin' has none. :blessed:

Nash better stick to the mixtape circuit. The label said fuckng NO! To a sophomore album. Bootleg Rihanna sounding self.

Who replaced Brit and Christina

Taylor Swift
I was gonna say this.  Katy perry, Ariana, Selena Gomez, etc. They find new girls to take the place of everybody. Selena gomez is prime example of a cute girl that isn't really great in anyway but they've pushed her on us. I used to :uhh:
Like they really trying to make this disney girl pop huh? Then i found myself  GROOVING to her mess :dead:
the way Selen' made rih WORRIED to release last year

I am wondering why is there no cute young black girl who sings like Ariana, JoJo, Tori... who just sings DOWN

THIS!

I never sad they had to be replicas of Bey and Rihanna. I mean, where is our next generation? If Ari, 'Lena, 'Mi can slay, where our young black girls?  :uhh:

The next chick has to come out of the gate swinging. Rihanna and Beyonce only flopped once. Beyonce with Work it Out. Rihanna didn't really flop, but her first album only went gold. But from the start, Rihanna had hit songs that actually slayed Billboard. You can't flop 20 times like Tinashe and just hit. I'm sorry, Justine is dark skin, and I seriously doubt the next it girl will be dark skinned. Besides, there's absolutely no buzz for her.  Y'all are forgetting key elements like age. Rihanna and Bey were young when they started. Even the white girls like Demi, Selena, Ariana were teenagers when they released their first albums. All those girls go at least platinum. No black female singers outside of Bey and Rihanna are going platinum even through streams.

BORElena is the epitome of basic. There is nothing appealing about her, but they forced her on the people and they eventually got in. It's crazy how the industry determines who will be the next big thing.
It's like y'all are talkin about Rih lmao

all of this. i do realize that a lot of the new girls who are doing it big (selena, ari, demi, etc) are all disney kids. and some upcomers like hailee. zendaya and keke should exploded by now but they too are even struggling to find their place. only time will tell really. but none of the SOLO artists right now have the potential.

Rihanna will be 30 soon. When she came out, she and Beyonce were only 6-7 years apart. The new girl should have been out. It's not Zendaya overgrown ass. lol

Tinashe... Nope.

Justine...Nope.

Kehlani...Nope.

Seven Streeter...Nope.

Victoria Monet... Nope.

Zendaya...Nope.

Normani...Nope.

Teyana Taylor...Nope.

Natalie LaRose was like the last new black female singer who had a mainstream hit. She actually had the look and the dance skills, but bitch was nearly 30 years old.

NorSHIT is never happening.

And Nashe is definitely gonna blow up. Like I just said it's harder for new acts to stick around because of stupid shit going viral 247. All her hard work and collaborations will eventually pay off.

tinash doesn't stand out in any way

She's a general kinda girl and unfortunately, she's done

Yeah, I really don't see it for KeKe; her songs suck tbh.

No, I am being objective! What dark skinned female singer actually had legit success on the level of Beyonce and Rihanna over the last 10 years? Colorism has become a big issue in today's world since we've become so presentation driven and less focused on talent like we were decades ago when singers like Patti Labelle, Aretha Frankin,  Whitney Houston, etc dominated the charts.

Here's a similar comment under Seven Streeter's most recent video for her latest song.

Opposites Attract.

How can you speak out against something but still perpetuate it? Like..

It's unconditional, these days you know....
