I do feel like some darker ppl always have a complaint anytime somebody lighter achieves something

Like Tisha is a damn good actress. It just fit their personalities. Gina was the one who needed a man, Pam was more strong willed. If anything shouldn't that be a compliment

Plus Martin and Gina were a couple on House party 
It made sense to cast her as the lead love interest
