,

Yeah, she's almost completely native African. Which is quite amazing tbh because it's not the norm in the states.

She said she was part Haitian though. It is the norm for them cause the Native Americans were completely punched out there and they killed all the white people during the revolution so they only have a small mixed race population in comparison to the other side of the island.

But it's not completely out of the norm for an American to punch a 93% African mess either.

Miranda

There is no Dominican gene though. All the natives have been extinguished to my believe.

But honestly.....to be fair

I'm sure a white person would be just as shocked and a bit excited if they were to discover they had African ancestry, even at a low level.

I'm just confused as to how the hell her family would tell her she's Dominican :uhh: People really just make stuff up and pass it along to latter generations. Thank God for these tools, the cycle can stop now and people can finally begin to unearth their truth.

There are dark skin Dominicans. You do realize Haitians and Dominicans live on the very same island.

:ohwow:

I do remember that now that you mention it, the two being very closely related. And I do in fact know of dark skinned Dominicans.
