wow, Ancestry.com is amazing. I just randomly typed my grandfather's name and it showed that he lived in America in 1964

omfg i just typed in my great grandmother's name and her tea popped up!!!

omg. I didn't think it would because her first name was "Chief". but it did. Imma join that section of the site as well. And see if I can trace her NA heritage. I know my grandmother would love that.

I wanna trace my great grandfather's mess but I know it'll just lead to some slave owner. I'm glad my grandmother kept it real and told me what went down with the rape of her great grandmother. and this confirms yet another thing my grandmother told me

that her father was rocking the fucking cradle. sdsdsddsd

but the European ancestry is a lot closer than I presumed
my grandmother told me that her father clearly was of european descent
but for him to be classified as just white in court documents, she may have been cutting a bit short of the full picture.
