And Theo, even if your results do not match what your grandmother told you regarding HER Native American heritage -- as in no percentage comes up for you....that doesn't mean she's lying. You are separated from her by one generation...which is your parent obviously. So it just may not be strong enough to trickle down to you, but that's not to say that NA blood isn't flowing through her veins. It's just further back.
My great grandmother's given name was "Chief", clearly the Native mess was close enough for it to pop up in my test, so it did. My great great grandparents may have been very close to full blooded NA. And even if it didn't pop up, I wouldn't have run around trying to test my sisters, cousins, aunts, and mess. It is what it is.

Only thing I'm confused about is my great grandfather now. Some documents list him as white , some as black. I have a strong feeling he was mulatto. I'll talk to my grandmother later on.
