but then again it's pretty easy to look at my features and hair and determine I'm mainly Persian mixed with South Indian with hints of Dominican and the exotic Asian eyes, which are green under the right lighting. I just wanna confirm.

But in all honesty, it feels good to know your history.

I was raised by my maternal side of the family and that's the side that has the most admixture.
So all my life I knew these stories. You don't know how it feels to know that your ancestors are still inside of you somewhere. ancestors that you actually KNOW OF. not 10 generations back.

When I found out the tribe my great grandmother came from I felt more connected with her. it's amazing that my blood pinpointed it, and I was able to confirm it through research.

u won't know how that feels until you've done it. i never met my great grandmother so it was amazing to me. i feel connected with her and her family. this is my ancestry. these are facts, not myths. this is my truth.

I began tearing up as I was posting my African details in here (which u obviously skipped over).....because I honestly never assumed I'd see the day where I had such an opportunity. this is amazing and people should take advantage.

Most African Americans have European ancestry inside of them.
they "assume" that it's Native American, or their grandparents tell them it's NA as an explanation to their ancestor's different hair textures and skin....just to cover up slave rape stories.

No one wants to accept that slave rape went down. so this is where the Native Cherokee mess got started. it passed from generation to generation. and now you have people taking DNA tests upset that nothing is showing up.

This was the saddest case, a 76 year old black woman just now finding out her truth:

But at least she took the brave step of pushing forward. Taking advantage of technology at her older age. She won't go to the grave thinking she's something that she's not.

Even 2-3% NA blood is very rare for us. And white people, who also assume they have Native American heritage...probably because of their white guilt and being ashamed of what their ancestors did to mine. 

They're also taking tests and discovering that they're well...just straight up fucking slave master white! boo hoo white privilege....they have my deepest sympathy
