Saying non-whites are ethnic marks them as being someone different, altering from "regular" people who do not have a label. A Chinese woman is not anymore "ethnic" than a Swedish woman. Using the term ethnic as synonym for non-whites perpetuates this binary between whites who are the default and all other people who are ethnically marked.

Its a part of a campaign with running ads and the slogan being "everybody gets love." You cant have a campaign stating that and have dark skinned girls with afros in every one of them Thats the point.... everyone.... Susie and Tori, and Keisha, get love. Keisha was in a few of the first "everyone gets love" campaign ads. Ok Black people are their primary supporters....... their shit works for everyone else too. Whats the big deal???? Its one ass commercial
