I don't think the two are comparable. One is about gender and the other is about a shitty label created by white people to achieve supremacy. Secondly, where is it "perfectly fine" to be transgendered? The question is low-key offensive and undermines all the hard work being done by the trans community.

I can?t believe I?m saying this but Rachel reinforced black is beautiful.
n

Yes, we hated ourselves so much that a white woman lied to become one of us, and she singlehandedly made us love ourselves again 🙄
Yea, i shouldve clarified. I agreed with that last statement about  a transgendered being fake. I don't agree that she reinforced black is beautiful.  I do think that it's perfectly fine being transgendered tho, as in its more of an acceptable concept. If u scoff at anything in terms of sexuality now, people are gonna feel a way. Just the other day on this very board when that boy applied that makeup, this whole board was "RIGHT ON! Live ur truth". Someone doing the same in regards to transracial would almost surely be met with an adverse reaction
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

Rachel took a word that already existed and moulded it to fit her own thing

QuoteBeing transracial is hardly similar to ?feeling black? ? It?s not like gender dysphoria either ? the politics of race and gender are not interchangeable in this context. Unlike many black Americans, Rachel?s family background does not carry the trauma of slavery and institutionalised racism. Unlike people who really are transracial, Rachel has not been physically torn between two cultures and denied intimate knowledge of her birth culture. Unlike people who are black and transracial adoptees, Rachel has not had to deal with both of these life-affecting experiences at the same time.
!!

Like, I like the bitch because I genuinely feel she loves black culture, but she is obsessed imo

Vibe.

Don't complain when white people use it with bad intentions for those defending this mess

:uhh:

White people are racist y'all

Are there any other 'transracials' besides Rachel or are people looking for a new thing?
Is that what would make it valid tho, the number of people who feel the same way? There are rare diseases, disorders, etc. I saw this comment

QuoteIn the world where everybody can be who they want and are encouraged to do so, it should not be a problem to be transracial ! She is not the only one doing it tbh, most of us know a white person that wish to be black and black that wish to be white !
Let?s be clear if we are gonna accept transgenderism we should accept transracialism too, because it?s the same concept = feeling that you don?t belong in the body you are born with so you attend some transformations in order to look close or exactly to your wishes !
So let?s stop the hypocrisy for a minute !

And i said this is actually true. Ive had a white pereon tell me to my face "im actually black/ I wish I were black"
I think I did what most people would do and that's shrug it off as white people being disingenuous or trying to fit in or whatever.  I think people are more up in arms because we hold our race so near and dear to our heart. They could never know our plight, our struggle, etc, but when I think about it, if ur open to one concept its completely hypocritical to be closed to the other.
those people want the black experience

That's it

But that's what u FEEL! U don't know that person's story or whatever.  Aint that what we say about transgendered people?
I could  LITERALLY say the same for transgendered people  :dead:
Being a woman isn't about what u wear or any of that bullshit. Ok u feel like ur a woman inside, fine. U dont need to go get breasts , wear dresses, etc. None of that shit makes a woman. Ur doing all that because u want the woman experience. Im sorry but i definitely see the parallels

I don't think she's being spiteful, she holds the culture in high regards, but I've never heard anyone else claiming to be "trans-racial"  :dead:
We see black people bleaching, wearing blond? wigs, blue contacts, rejecting their bloodlines, culture, exclusively dating white partners ect do we call them "trans-racial" or is it self-hate?
I know we joke around and call her Queen and stuff, but she's a little nuts.

And again, I'd take it less seriously if there wasn't that study about trans peoples brains being more similar to the gender they identified with

What makes Rachel black besides the corn rolls and dashiki?

And i think this is why people are not as open to the concept. White people love being white and black people love being black (in general) so when someone is ready to renounce their race we get defensive. Sexuality is sumn people dont take ownership of like that.  We can allow someone to question their own sexuality or WHATEVER but race is more embeded in who we are. U should be proud of who u are and HOW DARE u not be.  I see how someone could question if someone is being genuine with the whole thing. I do feel like if someone came and had some reasoning for how they felt, u should be open to the concept tho

I'm just saying black people usually like being white due to the history of being black because of self hate, the history of the negative images they have to live through, basically suffering from an inferiority complex,  and it'seems been like that for hundreds of years.
White people love being black because it's urban and "cool".
I'm just saying there's a difference between someone respecting and admiring the culture and someone legit saying they are black.
Apart from Rachel who else has declared themselves as transracial?
I've never heard a white person who legit feels as though they were born into the wrong colour of skin.
I just don't buy it, and like someone else says it undermines the whole transsexual arguement.

yes, it's purely because of the study

I don't understand transgenderism at all. I don't even understand homosexuality, but I know these two things exist because I live one of the experiences and I have friends who live the other.

I'm not saying I doubt Rachel completely, maybe there is something more to race that I don't understand. I need her to explain it though

Because for me I only hear straight black people trying to argue this, like Terrys dumb ass, and it just feels like an attempt to undermine the progress the trans community has made. Oh, if this is ridiculous, so is transgenderism!

But again, this shit ain't going nowhere. And if it gains steam and I can have someone explain to me wtf it means I'll take it more seriously

Now that I read his posts, I think Terry was trolling.
