The fckn breakdown they gave me though nnn

HIV (ECLIA) NEGATIVE
Syphillis (CLIA) NEGATIVE
HEPATITIS B (ECLIA) NEGATIVE
HEPATITIS C (ECLIA) NEGATIVE
Chlamydia trachomatis (PCR) NEGATIVE
Neisseria gonorrhoeae (PCR) NEGATIVE

I really had to go home and google all the mess, it is crazy how little we know about all these diseases. I just always make sure to wrap it up but you should also think of what you are protecting yourself from.

People really think it protects them from all STIs? :uhh:
no they think all the other STI's are curable so it's not as important to be protected from, so they keep coming back to be treated for the same STI's over and over
Not realising all the antibiotics we have currently are slowly becoming resistant to them.
Pretty soon we'll have super STI's

I need to move from sexual health to mental health or health promotion
Because I really don't care anymore and you can see it on my face when I talk to patients
Half of them don't listen and the rest don't care
Before I say something and fuck up my employment
:udontlookok:

How do they react when you tell them their HIV results came back positive. Do they get teary eyed, do they feel shame. I could not imagine getting such a result. Like I'd jump off a bridge.

And you must be really out there RUSSIAN ROULETTE FUCKING cause regular bare sex with a person that is HIV positive still has a chance of below 5% of you actually contracting anything, unless they received their disease really recently. Statistically speaking you need DOZENS of raw contacts with HIV positive people to finally get it. It is just beyond me.

I could feel bad for gorls who had one lapse of judgement or two, but those who try it over and over again, I can see you getting numb, Jayden.

There was this woman that came in once and said her boyfriend cheated on her and had gotten gonnoreahea, and she knew this before they had sex.
I had to ask again if she knew this before they had sex and she said yes
I went on lunch
What do you want me to do sis?
