ya rock muh world.

Because what you're saying is that there is already enough evidence for him to be convicted in the court of public opinion - including his family. And that, in this instance where such strong evidence is present, you'd feel as if your sibling was guilty. IT seems like if the stronger evidence wasn't there, you'd accept the idea of them being innocent and would move to support them in greater ways . But -

No shade, but if I KNEW for a fact that my family was guilty of such a thing I wouldn't support it at all. No coins, no visits in prison, you put yourself there.

So if you're saying that you'd support even though you knew in your heart of hearts that they're guilty based on evidence, you can't really check nicki for taking the stand.

This entire case is sad, but we all know what the outcome will be. Jelani will be acquitted on all charges due to his association with a huge celebrity.

It's a sad world.

If I were Nicki, I probably wouldn't defend him.

I want to believe he's innocent but there's just so much evidence that shows that he's guilty.  :hmph:

Uh, no it's not.

I would support my brother financially, because I'd likely be supporting him way before this case even took place.  Everyone deserves the right to a fair trial.  Even him!  So, if I pay for his lawyer fees or whatever, and he gets off, then that's between the defense and the prosecution.

I am not, however, going to use my celebrity and get on the stand to help the defense in a case where the evidence is overwhelming -- including DNA evidence.

You're always trying to spin and shapeshift different arguments into being essentially the same.

It won't work with this one.

Afro, just stop.

His semen was found on the little girl's clothes.  We aren't talking about "Rake It Up" vs. "Bodak Yellow".
But you said you'd still support your sibling if the scenario was the same - so what exactly am I stopping?

I said supporting family is instinctive.

There's one thing to financially support someone.  There's another to let the defense use you to spin this into an extortion case.  And get on the stand to assist them in painting a scenario she more than likely knows is a lie.

That little girl was a huge Nicki Minaj fan.  She always talks about women empowerment and repping for the ladies, but she's using her celebrity to call a little girl a liar who had her brother's semen on her clothes.

Sometimes, you just have to love someone from a distance.  She's too involved.

And I find it pretty disgusting.
Support is support, Cody.

When parents vehemently oppose things that their kids do - guess what they usually do? They cut them off completely. No finances, no hugs, no kisses. That's what you call an absence of support.

Not saying "Oh I won't take the stand but here's some coins".

You either want to support your family or you don't. Period. I'm not here for picking which TYPE of support is acceptable and which isn't.

Support is not support.

Yeah it kinda is. There's different types of support. Financial support, judicial support, etc.
