She definitey removed it. It was stalling at #4 on Pop radio and then her team used payola to get it to #1 and now she's pulling it to make room for Ready For It.

This isn't uncommon. Earlier this year, Katy pulled Chained from the radios to make room for Bon Appetit. In the days leading up to Bon Appetit's release, Chained to the Rhythm was getting -5M updates on Pop radio.

In Taylor's defense she has another song that's already  Top 20 at Pop, but "Look What You Made Me Do" crashed on Spotify and the radio call out scores were really bad.  Plus, it was falling quickly on iTunes before they discounted.

So, this didn't connect well with the public (by her standards) beyond the initial hype.  It also didn't help that people seemed to like "Ready For It?" more.

I love Katy but her team was dumb as SHIT for pulling CTTR from radios. The funniest thing about the entire thing is Bon Appetit didn't even get a radio deal so she basically sabotaged CTTR for no reason.
