I could MAYBE agree if the era was still music of the SUN, rainbows and cotton candy. The girl had already started to embrace her edge and sexiness. Disturbia is STILL one of her edgiest videos. The GGGB title was already a prelude to sexiness and what came after was a natural progression. The only thing is that no one's going to buy an album with a theme of "Hi haters - yeah. heard you were talking smack about me. Now buy this album so you can hear me clap back at you." unless it's your core stanbase.

It's just not wise to play the aggressive/wtf is really gewd card when you're already seen as the aggressor.
