The second-season Fox hit attracted 12.2 million viewers Wednesday, a 6% drop from the Oct. 7 episode, according to preliminary Nielsen ratings. It also was down 8% from last week among the young adults (18-to-49-year-olds) prized by advertisers, although it was easily Wednesday's top show in both ratings categories.

The numbers are still good, but the hype definitely died down a bit. They need to make the show less cliche and predictable. Season 1 had a great deal of twists and turns. This season just feels like a circus.

!!!!!!! The ratings were ridiculously high for the premiere. It was beyond overhyped. So this is not shocking or unexpected. They'll still have superior ratings throughout and still book all the other shows.
