that has more to do with how long you cook it and how long you let the water evaporate, than washing it lol

I grew up washing my rice.

But I find that rice being sticky depends on the ratio of water to rice in the pot.

I didn't realize that until I started using a RICE COOKER.

I wash my rice, and place it in the rice cooker, (perfect ratio of water/rice),  It comes out normal.
My FRIEND DOES NOT WASH her rice, and places it in the rice cooker, (perfect ratio of water/rice), It comes out normal.
