So in general, it would be okay to try to bash/diminish one's appearance because they saw themselves in a different light a few years ago?

Besides AA havethis mess where they want you to just be black. Only biracial they acknowledge is when 1 of the parents is pure 1st gen white.

denying their Black side? I don?t think anyone wants them to be JUST Black

but it?s showing that in today?s climate more ppl are embracing their blackness

Because as I stated AA are very jealous of anyone who is connected to their heritage. Any form of celebration of that heritage is seen as denying you?re black. Amara ain?t the first to run this 8 mile stretch. Plenty of well know celebrities are black and Latin and proud of it.
