Bottom line is that it happened and no one was criticized for it. At least not to my recollection.

I lowkey wanted to say something but instead I just defended him by posting pics of where he looks a lil different here and there depending on the pic/time it was taken, etc.

Someone in here brought up how much people treat light skin as an "honor" - they were accusing you of putting it so high on a pedestal that you move to question someone who claims they are light.

I've seen that happen on here before with no backlash. So there's the "correlation".

Since you want to take Ludacris referencing his skin color in a joke and try to compare it to Dave's situation only to reduce it down to "backlash" against labeling their skin color then I can take your statement about not wanting to argue about skin color and reduce it down to just not wanting to argue at all.
