I can see why she tends to interject with foolishness.
It's a role that I believe has been given to her (similar to the role Countess Vaughn plays both on sitcom sets and reality TV) and she has clearly embodied it. Sometimes to the point where it's excessive and unnecessary.

That's just my opinion.

Great logic. I, too, have a feeling that she wouldn't be as outlandish if she was slimmer and more attractive.

Society wouldn't require her to be. Many times if someone is considered attractive we like to sit and stare at them. Or question how they look that way. But if they're not, oh they better have something to bring to the table. No way in the world you just gonna be an overweight, black, dark skinned woman trying to be prim and proper. Bring on the laughs, fatso!
