Yea... I'm very social and I've learned to enjoy it, but it doesn't "energize" me like with extroverts, unless it's in an environment of interest and comfort.

Sometimes, I feel like being social is like a chore.. like maintenance for a relationship. I often go and do things with a friend, not because I want to, but just because I care and want to maintain the relationship. And I think that's why it can be so draining for me at times and I need that time to recharge.

Twin kinda hit it right on the fucking NAIL. I hate casual conversations and conversing with people that I don't really care about. For an example with work...like bitches can I PLEASE just heat up my fucking food or grab a coffee in PEACE without having a forced ass conversation? :uhh:
:plzstop:

I love you omg this board >>

I can?t tell you how many times I?ve experienced this. Certain people are always looking for my thoughts on something because they know my interests vary from sports to music and theatre/blah blah, or they?re just looking for a quick laugh but omg. It?s my fault tho because what i give from day to day, can be completely fucking different Sndndndndnfnnf ?hey GUYS what?s crackin??! Lmao!! Whoa!? and the next day giving
:sevynstreeter:

Sometimes i legit just want everyone to sit and meditate for 10 damn minutes
:calmdownsis:
OMFFFF!!!! That's me!!  :plzstop:

My friends and family have ALWAYS said that I'm very moody and have "ways", but I never realized until pretty recently. :dead: Its just when I don't get my time to recharge and get away from everyone, I become very irritable and emotionally disconnected. I'm very friendly and outgoing and a good listener, but sometimes I just don't feel like being fucking bothered. :dead: :uhh: My roomie told she can sense when not to bother me.... I don't think she can though.

:sevynstreeter:

One time I was so drained and THROUGH that she asked "are you even listening?" and I flat the fuck out said "I'm really not..."
like girl, can I just come home n collect my OWN thoughts first n get UNDRESSED in peace? :uhh: :uhh: :uhh:

Whew! But that's another conversation for another day. Lol

Honestly I'm not sure what I am anymore

I fake being extrovert and social and outgoing every fucking day of my life now

I'm so good at it, I'm not sure if it's natural or forced anymore

I know I wasn't this way 5 years ago though

So I dunno if it's been hidden within me or if I'm just faking it

sssddddddddddddd

I'm going through/went through that stage too. I think it's more so just growing up and learning yourself. I used to think I was "fake" extroverting when I first moved here, but I really do enjoy being social and "extroverted", as an adult... I think its due to being comfortable in your own skin and knowing who you are now. We still need our fucking breaks from the world though. :dead:

Pons is this part of the big reveals u been hinting about

:jarvwhereru:

The world is crumbling huh

Yes, I am and I honestly don't like it. I always envied the people who can sashay through a crowd and mingle a bit. I personally just don't like people. I think as I got older tho I'm becoming less antisocial/introverted though. I'm learning to be more talkative but I still can't do crowds. I will literally clam up and get paranoid.

Do you think the way you were raised has to do with it? Cause as far as I remember my parents never took me to overcrowded places like big events when I was a child, plus I'm from the countryside. Might be something that has to be "learned" in early childhood.

It probably does but at the same time I know my parents used to take me to Chuck E Cheese and to the mall. But my mom was super protective and would tell people "No" if they tried to get too close to me :plzstop: so I wonder if that rubbed off on me cause as I got older she told me that I used to be picky about who I would talk to and only smile and chat with certain kids. I'm the first born and my first two years were mostly spent with my mom or alone with my toys fjjjj I noticed that people who come from big families tend to be more extroverted and chatty tho.

Sounds like that definitely rubbed off on you. My mom was also very protective of me and my older brothers.
