Seriously, I just found myself upset EVERYDAY because of the injustice in the world because of the daily instagram/twitter/google post about BULLSHIT

and while, I've never been one to sit up ONLINE and argue about how this person or that person was done wrong, I also haven't been the one to PHYSICALLY go out and RALLY. The most I've done is donate to various causes because I'm not that social.

I'm not afraid to fight for a cause, I would die any day for anything or anyone I believe in, but my social issues keep me from going out in the streets.

So, I figured if I'm not going to do shit in the real world outside of providing cash, I would do my self the favor of not getting riled up about the same shit I'm not out there rallying for.

The daily news about my black/brown brethren and sistren being BEATEN for a speeding ticket or not paying for a $1.99 chicken nugget box is depressing and I'm not going to allow myself to go into depression for the world. Fuck that. The world didn't raise me. My parents have.

I'm not sure when things will change, but for the moment I'M WELL aware that I'm living in chaos and I refuse to fall victim to the negatives they impose on people.

We're watching ACTUAL videos of black and brown people being killed and beaten every other day now

It's desensitizing us, and it's not healthy.

I've been in the situation where someone reached out for a gun for me and I know how terrifying that is. I don't want that to be normalized in my brain.
