It's weird but the older I get, the less concerned I become about aging...
And I think living in NYC plays a huge role in that too. It's such an ageless/timeless city. It's just a different mindset here, which is why I kinda fear leaving. There's no timelines or pressures for where you should be positioned in life, based on your age.
That made maturing so seamless for me now in my mid/upper 20s. In my early 20s, dealing with aging was a huge struggle and a lot of it was because of my parents and the culture of the south. But also, a lot of it was because I felt like I never had the chance to experience things that I felt like I was now too old to experience at that point. 23 and 24 was so young.... and I kinda feel like I wasted those years.
Oh well.. I made up for it. LOLZ
