1) its trendy- the sound of the album is very current

2) its authentic the lyrics to the production to the vocals doesnt sound overthought or trying to be deep

3)its revealing lots of insight in to their minds and their life

But isnt that all subjective?
Its obvious I dont dislike them or else I wouldnt be "disappointed" in this album. And I would beg to differ re: Wale and Marsha and their levels of talent.

If anything I think your response reeks bias. I am just stating I am disappointed. You're stating I should like it because it is undeniably good.

I like Bey as a singer. Yea she sings a few tunes here but I enjoy her as a "1+1", "Hello", hell even "Countdown" type singer. Shes riding this new wave of delivery that I enjoyed for a moment but didnt want to seenl in her next project.

The production is quality but not dynamic. Its.....good.

So...to me...the album is ok. And so because in my opinion its "ok", I was just shocked to see all this praise in this thread (going back to my op) because we (as a forum) have been a lot more critical of albums that pushed the needle a little more than this one from the carters.

Their GIFTS and level of talent is the undeniable thing in comparison to a Marsha and Wale. please.
