i hate to generalize but i think women are different. Cuz in male dominated sports or even in male hip hop, the tag line or motto is always ?to be the man, you gotta beat the man?.
I think the wins always feel better when you have some actual competition, and i don?t think guys like Drake and Kendrick would like for the other to cease existing. Where?s the fun in that? In this particular sport, i think they sit back and see what the other does and it simply fuels them to go even harder.
Not a ?there?s only room for one? mentality. I?m willing to bet that it really bothers Nicki not to be dominating right now when there is some real competition out there. A TRUE competitor, IMO, would wanna be kicking down doors and taking names when there?s actual viable foes in the way.
How it "feels" to win is completely based on who's looking to win.
Some may find enjoyment in the challenge of it all; some might just want to be #1, period.
If laws didn't exist to prevent monopolies here in America, trust and believe there'd be a few companies being the only game in town for whatever service they provide.
It's nice to make this all about friendly competition, and put unrealistic expectations on everyone to "play fair" and give everyone a fair shot to get at them... The whole "fight with your fists" thing. It's cute. But this isn't DisneyLand.
