i think most of these artists kept it on wax though. IMO, Nicki gives this in or out of the booth. It?s not always accepted if you carry that energy with you, extending it beyond the music. I don?t know for fact, but my best guess from everything we see and hear is that she?s a load to deal with and tolerate in general, and that?s why a lot of vitriol is often aimed her way these days.

That first interview upon her return is a great example.

You do realize that competitiveness includes crushing anyone in your lane as well, right?

You don't see Apple reaching out to Samsung for a collaboration. I'm pretty sure they'd prefer for them not to exist.

If you're truly competitive you want to be at the top and everyone else to be far far away from your throne.
And you'll do whatever it takes to keep them down and away.

i hate to generalize but i think women are different. Cuz in male dominated sports or even in male hip hop, the tag line or motto is always ?to be the man, you gotta beat the man?. 

I think the wins always feel better when you have some actual competition, and i don?t think guys like Drake and Kendrick would like for the other to cease existing. Where?s the fun in that? In this particular sport, i think they sit back and see what the other does and it simply fuels them to go even harder.

Not a ?there?s only room for one? mentality. I?m willing to bet that it really bothers Nicki not to be dominating right now when there is some real competition out there. A TRUE competitor, IMO, would wanna be kicking down doors and taking names when there?s actual viable foes in the way.
