There was someone on the old Bey board that used to say Whitney suffered from Gospel Jaw and if you watch enough of her performances you can see it. It wasn't really drugs that REALLY destroyed her voice but improper technique. Though it did her WONDERS for her vocal performances and live performances it wasn't good in the long run.

I appreciate what she did vocally. Definitely pushed herself to the breaking point.
