Hhhh really?
The hive were waiting almost a year for the album :dead:
Bey HAD to use a tactic to sell because she couldn't have the same response from the era before
Let the bitch fine tune hers start before y'all can start 'dragging' :dead:

I'm screaming

She's been fine tuning this album for 3 years.

The lead single was released 10 months ago.

I'm hollering.

It's hardly been 3 years :uhh:
It was released 10 months ago but it was a hit and performed it on the Grammys lol
It's not like she's struggling from the start
She obviously wants to create something she's happy with
this is Rihanna who releases EVERY year
her taking almost 3 years is a HUGE stretch, and honestly I think her team
does feel like she struggled from the start. 45 was a top 5
but Rih is known for #1

LOONA.

hggggggggggggg

45s' success lasted all of 2 weeks then it freefall and all the songs after it flopped. They clearly had a plan in the beginning otherwise they wouldn't have released multiple singles along with music videos and high profile performances.

Like get a grip. HDD, Billboard and everybody else has been posting all the year about the multiple pushbacks and 8 million release dates. They can't find a song to stick. She's flopping.

Ppl say Bey HAD to use the "tactic" as if it's just GUARANTEED for success
ppl could have easily listened to the iTunes previews and ignored the hell out of Bey
but they didn't because it is a great album, Bey has a loyal fanbase
and the general public buys her albums every time to fit in

YES! What Bey did was actually a RISK. Releasing on a Friday SPLIT her sales and Target and Amazon didn't even carry the albums.

It kills me when people say it was safe. Sis could have flopped and people could have paid it DUST.

A 3 year gap has nothing to do with it
Anyone who releases an album every year needs a break to refresh
And a Top 5 is enough to sell an album
She def has the chance to gain multiple number ones this era
