This is sad to see our legends go. Despite who she may have been personally, she really raised the standard vocally.
she really did
And she acts no different than most granny?s
No staff or band has complained or says she mistreated them
Honestly barely any celeb has
She was 60 years deep.. and old women get grouchy

Love this queen.. need u here to comfort me a bit

You gotta let the elders mess a bit. I remember years ago Mary J Blige was meant to perform with Queen at the grammys for their duet Never Gonna Break My Faith. The song was nominated for a Golden Globe and grammy. Queen said Mary could sit this one out and got Bebe Winans to replace her during the grammy performance. The Mary stans were heated but all Mary said was that she loved and respected Queen and would do as she was told with no explanation. She was literally clueless as to why she was cut. :plzstop:

Actually the last grammy Queen Aretha ever won was for this song. :stressed:

You got to respect the ones before you. :kii: :kii: :kii: :kii:

When Mary first came out Chaka Khan told her I don't see it for you and I won't duet with you until you're long in the game.  :woohoo:

20 something years later Mary wrote this song for her, which won Chaka her last grammy. :plea:

She made Fanny sit out that grammy tribute that had JHud and Christina Aguilera on it too. Fanny was upset but auntie said you can't get everything you want. :woohoo:

I kinda lived for her shenanigans. She was a real DIVA. :plea:

She was shading Patti left and right here. :kii:
