Nicki sacrificed her art for a few bubble gum singles. She had an organic hit with super bass then went overboard trying to recreate that success with starships etc. In turn she turned off hip hop fans to the point the urban DJs were calling her out.

Drake stayed true to his sound. Tyga released rack city in 2012 same year she released starships and it was just as big in US and it was an organic hit and today he have "taste".

None of Nicki shit is sticking. Her label isn't going to see her as viable pretty soon. They spend too much money not to get their return.

I'm not saying she needs to be SUBMISSIVE, but I feel like because shes a woman its easier for people to say fuck her

I was watching her Genius interview and she can still come off endearing, but the way she bounces back and forth between being secure in her spot in hip hop and being this bullied victim lashing out at everyone is...a lot.

I think she knows her it-girl status has came and went and she doesn't know how to cope with being an older woman in a very sexist/ageist field.
