Most def. One thing about Celine, even though she toured just as much as Whitney, she lipped a lot which preserved her voice, which is why I dont mind when artist lip sync from time to time. In my opinion, I think Whitney also did a lot of oversinging too. She went all out in her performances instead of just keeping it cute.

I 100% agree with this
smoking directly effects the respiratory system which is where the voice comes from
coke goes in the blood stream
Chaka, Natalie Cole, Miki Howard, Faith
so many great vocalists do coke, and still sound great or are able to recover
and with Mariah its the drinking, and tumors on her chords
