I?ve stayed at hella hotels across the us and even some overseas

Drunk as hell or hungry as hell .. I hav yet to witness a hotel mess where I could parade around at my own free will.. especially into a kitchen, laundry area or hospitality section

Hotels owe their guest a reasonable duty of care. The test is REASONABLENESS. Her getting high out of her mind doesn't pass the test of reasonableness. The only way they're getting any money is if the hotel decides to settle, and it will be nowhere near 50 million. I think they went for a ballpark figure hoping for a much lower settlement, which any smart lawyer would have advised.

Yeah, but the hotel would've most likely made an offer so it wouldn't go to trail before hand to avoid all of thus. They never did, which says they don't accept and responsibly and believe they can win. Another thing that's working against them is the fact that the room was secured illegally, they were all under age and technically trespassing on hotel grounds because they didn't have the right to be there legally.

The hotel had other walk-in freezers that were locked and inaccessible, so why was this one not secured in the same manner? Not to mention bad security and the lack of urgency in viewing surveillance, it sounds like they were negligent in this mess.

There's tons of lock-up/closing procedures in the event no one was on duty

it doesn't make sense that she did a half SLEEP zig zag mess all the way to her death like that

At the very LEAST; where was security watching those cams?

Her deserving justice and the hotel paying the family are not one and the same. Her family deserves justice. The hotel compensating them is NOT justice. They were in no way liable for the actions that led to her getting drunk/drugged out of her fucking mind and walking into a freezer. Let them find THOSE persons and hold them accountable.
