wonder if they'll do the moment of silence as everyone is leaving the club

CHOKE

Its not the same. Paris hits close to home, its like if this happened in Paris it could happen in the US. That's why people are so shook.

Both sad tho.

It's because people associate Paris with some sort of chic lifestyle.
Yuppies love Paris. They love talking about it, posting pictures of themselves touching the Eiffel Tower, eating a fucking baguette.

Most people just want an excuse to talk about how they've been to Paris...

This was their opportunity.
ive definitely seen people make it about them

"Aww so sad. I just performed there last week haha" :uhh: it's weird

No one is stopping ANYONE from making their profile pic the flag of Kenya. Maybe start the movement?? I don't see anyone complaining about people not making their profile pic one of Kenya ' s flag WITHOUT Making it their OWN profile pic.

Makes sense to me.
d

People can be sheep, so I don't really care if they wanna add the flag overlay, but to me, it's almost as if Facebook is saying that this tragedy is a greater deal than other recent tragedies.
right

Either acknowledge and prop up everything, or ignore it all

omggg the gorls aren't HAVIN it :dead:

dssamdm oh shit

Tryna find the lie but

So the thing to do would be to put a flag of another country up or say something about other countries after something actually happens to them, not bash others for supporting a country that had just been attacked yesterday.  This is serious. People are dying, and the only thing you can think of to add to the conversation is f@ck these white people 'cause the media didn't make a big enough deal in Kenya.

We should've made a bigger deal about Kenya, but that doesn't make Paris lives any less valuable or less worth caring about, either.
