I think the constant bullet sounds have hurt Voncs hearing.
Lady gaga is a more celebrated singer.

Not to be messy, but hasn't Beyonce performed at the Oscars like four times
not to be shady but janet jackson and Aaliyah have performed at the Oscars, bbe
but they weren't asked to come back and perform multiple times...

The fact that they performed at all is evidence enough.

To be fair they only got to perform the Oscar nominated songs that they orginated.
In 2005 Bee was asked to perform 3 of the 5 nominated songs that she had nothing to do with, while the vocalists who sang them on the soundtracks had to watch and fume from the audience.
In 2009 she was picked because it was a celebration of the musical performance and she was considered the ultimate singer/performer of her generation.
Of course in 2006 "Listen" was nominated.
Anyways Bee will have to really work hard to lose the "Best Original Song" awards next year. You have The power of Disney plus, Disney's most academy awarded property, plus an all new orginal song written and produced by the orginal films composers, plus Beyonce Knowles.
That one will really be hers to lose, the biggest obstacle will be if there is another original song from that soundtrack nominated and they both cannibalize each other.
