I just can't get into the whole PrEP thing. I think it's great for the gorls that choose to go that route, but I'm not too ok with putting that stuff into my body daily when I can just have safe sex or abstain altogether. I'm not knocking it, because it's definitely a good thing, but I just don't think it's for me.

Well my best friend has it.  I think i MAY have mentioned it before.  IT is soo crazy to me.  He has sex once every 6 months. I literally do it every other day. I felt bad and cried for him cause not that I WANT IT .. but because he barely does it and then gets it.

Whats so funny was he told me and some other friends while at the club ...he just said, " hey hows your day oh btw I am HIV positive i found out a few months ago.. so yeah did you catch RHOA the other day ?"

i was LIKE WHATTTT i was so sad like it was me who got it .. so yeah

thats fucked up....yeah if i got it I would keep that shit to myself but i would still have sex just be extra careful about using protection so that i dont fuck up someones life

There are lots of guys who are not comfortable with the PrEP thing. That's why I said using condoms is the key and just assume that everyone is positive because there are some people out there who blatantly lie about their status or who don't even know when was their last HIV/STD test.  It's scary.

Pull out and get another condom. It's simple. Because HIV can be detected in precum as well.

I've only been around ppl who caught it being reckless. So my interaction with them after was consoling, but I'm not really a fake person, so my first instinct was to explain the seriousness of either being abstinent or being upfront with ppl.

But I treat everybody the same no matter what disease they have. I see ppl period.

The thing is nobody knows ever if they have it because a test can only give you info for weeks before you took the test...

And even the chance is really low it can get you every single time.

It takes 3-6 months to show up.
