Now, I'm gonna be honest with you girls. I only got this job because I needed extra money (I live alone now and pay my own rent) and also the boss is my uncles girlfriend. 

However, I still show up and do my job just fine, the issue is I dont work like the other guys. I'm the only gay gorl here (as far as I know) and I've already had issues with 2 of the guys (one white, the other latino) and they keep complaining to the boss about my work ethic. My boss says I work just fine, however they keep my name in their mouths.  I've done rootwork on the two guys already and it seems to be helping, but I'd like to know the gorls perspectives.

How do you deal with coworkers who irritate your wig and scalp to no end?

i'll give a really professional greeting then wont say shit to your ass for the rest of the day (unless completely necessary). then im super professional too. basically they know i don't fuck w/ them but i don't give them ANY ammunition to complain about "hostile work environment" or any other bullshit like that. love seein 'em squirm, tbh

If there are two of them complaining, have you ever paused to consider that their complaints may be reasonable in any way? Have you done any self-evaluation?

I love you boo so Imma keep it one hundred with you. If there are two people complaining then most likely there could be some truth to what they're saying. Not all the time, but usually where's there is smoke there could be fire. And I'm glad you can admit that.

What I'd in this instance do is kill them with kindness, and hard work. When I say kindness, I don't mean be their bestie. I mean approach them in a professional manner and as your team members, to ensure you guys are all on the same page when it comes to getting business done for the day.

Take down whatever wall is between yourself and these coworkers. It's gonna make your life a lot less stressful - at least while you're at work. Keep it professional. No need to be fake. You don't like them, they don't like you. This is clear. But you're all there to get your bag. Check in with them regarding any projects you all are working on as a collective.

Don't let them push you into a corner and have you uncomfortable at your job. No need to buck up and fight them or be childish with shade. Just show them what you're made of. Give them NO room to complain. Because now it seems like they have a bit.

And keep notes of check-ins that you have with them. Log every conversation related to work if you have the time. Be proactive by approaching your boss with updates and check in with him/her as well (within reason - don't "bug" your boss as I'm sure his hands are full each day).

You're right. Tbh I dont know why I'm letting it bother me. I just hate workplace politics. I can't wait to quit.
