Marriage and sex isn't the same thing
These law makers are looking at it from the good ol' christian angle where the bible is used to promote abistence over contraception, the sanity of marriage between man and woman, the condemnation of homosexuality, abortion and sex before marriage..it was even once used as proof as why blacks should be slaves and also as a tool to oppress slaves.
The world isn't FIT for that anymore, it's time these kids face reality and equip themselves with facts instead of fairy-styles from 12AD I say.

I never said the two were the same.

I bring that up because I know plenty of straight people who'd probably have an issue with this gay marriage cartoon but would happily allow their kids to shoot down people via virtual reality.

Especially since they will KNOW how to differentiate normal gay relationships from pedophilia and other hazardous stuff if you make things clear from the beginning. Optimally every kid should be guaranteed the right to learn this stuff, no matter the parent's beliefs. You may think about what's age appropiate and what's not while other households might evade the discussion altogether until it's too late That's what these cartoons airing on public broadcaster service are for and hopefully they'll keep making good use of public television.
