Oh shit, lets not forget about Touch My Fucking Body.

I dont even now why this thread is even created. If anything, MC can be compared to Whitney and a chick like Bey should be compared to Rih. Dionne was right -- she has a little ways to go.

A Kelly fan should just stay out of discussions, period.

Dangerously in Love

That's a DC3 song she selfishly claimed as her own. just like she snatched Kelly's Feel The Same Way I Do and Bad Habit for a DC album.
Dont forget check on it
dddffffff
oh yeah. she really made that song her own and got a #1 hit from it :kii:

Didnt even give them a formal feature just credited them in the background lol
A damn mess. The fact that Bad Habit coulda been an actual hit for Kelly after Destiny Fulfilled wrapped up and the poor girl had to toss it on the project, while Bey was parading around singing DIL, a song millions of DC3 fans already knew.

Beyonce gets great reviews at the time of release, but I don't know how well her albums age.  Lemonade didn't age well for me.

Beychella may end up being her magnum opus, and that's largely because it is performance-based.

I love her, but she doesn't have classic songs in the same way Vision of Love or We Belong Together are heartfelt classics.  Even Fantasy or All I Want for Christmas are lighthearted classics.  The only Bey song on that caliber is... Single Ladies?  Crazy in Love?

Maybe because the industry is different and Bey has chosen to be a visual album artist known for "projects" instead of singles.  Whereas Mariah's #1's alone make a great album because she has classic singles.  On top of better albums than Bey.

Now, performing is Bey all the way.
Sigh......
Not calling 'We Belong Together" a classic and dismissing "Irreplaceable". Just say you dont like the girl and cut the shit.

irreplaceable was a monster track and became bigger than "We Belong Together".. Cant say one is a classic and the other isnt.

You're lying, one has song of the decade the other does not and that's rightfully so

While I agree she has branded this song as her own.
I'm sorry. I dont ever consider DIL a Beyonce song. It was a DC3 record...period.
You don't have to consider it her song, but that doesn't dispute the fact that she BRANDED the song as her own.  Title of her biggest-selling album, while the track was lost in the shuffle on survivor which is arguably DC's worst album.   Shady? yes and insulting to the legacy of DC by adding validity to the claims that she was the group and did all the singing. She pulled a Deena Jones (One Night Only) on her own group members  :kii:

Beyoncé has been on top since 2003. We are now in 2019. I can't think of another artist that has successfully been on top for this long. There is a reason. She kinda hopped, skipped and jumped past y'alls faves and y'all can't take it
they hate to see it. dkdjdjd

Im honestly in stitches at this masked anger

;

no one recognizes it as a DC song

stop ur bullshit

and she and her team are smart for that. now can y'all claim a classic ballad that she put out that wasn't a dc hand me down? of course not. DIL isnt even a classic classic. just a bey staple. nowhere along the lines of the many MC classic power ballads.
'

akldsj;mflk hun you aren't really the end all be all of what determines a classic. Dangerously in Love is a classic period

it's more listened to than A lot of mariah's classic ballads and it wasn't even a real single  :dead:

I don't personally like Irre' or WBT that much... but I think WBT has a far better legacy.  Mariah just does ballads and midtempos better.  Beyonce's signature songs are her uptempos like Formation and CIL.

ffffgggghbbbb

Irreplaceable was NEVER bigger than We Belong Together. :kii: The amount of records WBT broke? 14 weeks at #1 if I'm not mistaken. At the time, the song with the most radio impressions EVER, easily beating out Irreplaceable which wasnt even in the Top 10. And the ONLY song to this day that topped Top 40, Rhythmic, Urban and Urban AC. Stop the madness guys and just take this L.
