Sounds like a BIG song.
Like a DAMN COMEBACK song
It's different!

The energy in the song is crazy!

the song is phenomenal

if you are able to let go of expectations and constructs

just saying

the song is great... for what it is.

but it isn't enough, if this is what we'll get until 2026.

I especially like this because of how personal it sounds. Like she sounds like she's legit getting shit off her chest that she's needed to say for a long time. Between a the legal drama with her former label, her broken engagement, and the clap backs...woo! I get it, Brandy. This song was probably more liberating for her than we may realize, and I really dig that kind of openness and honesty.

I appreciate that.  For an album cut.

I agree. I'm hoping this is a standalone release like B&P and not taking up a spot on the album. Some of the backing vocals are very jarring when they come in and it just doesn't sound polished enough to make the album. Not sandwiched in between a Hit-Boy and Timbaland track at least.

You bitches don't pay attention. This is not her first single, it's to celebrate the 25th anniversary! Catch these vocals and wait like we been doing

I started crying halfway through  :gorlonfire:
I'm not gon lie. I felt a way

Yeah the second verse did something to me...

And when she said "something just beyond your grasp won't ground me"

that doesn't make sense Ralf, but ok.

the song is beautiful in this moment— I'm not looking back nor looking forward.

I am.  And that makes sense to me... so...

Why are y'all still talking about singles like that matters :dead:
The only time one should be worried about singles is when ur wondering if they are gonna sell an album. Lets get to it, Brandy is not gonna do well like that so who gives af about "a single". She has new music coming and if u can't get into this then get into sumn on the album that's coming.  Brandy aint hardly been a great single picker anyway, so if ur disappointed then u should be used to it
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw
