He was pretty clear in stating that of you dont buy it then thats cool. He was talking about supporting the Black artist you like and dont bootleg their shit.

Its almost like you have to be a die hard fan of someone to support. Even if your not a fan but like the artist songs thats still reason enough to purchase.

You know, if he was releasing GREAT music, I would probably consider this an issue. But the music has been just AWFUL that he has been releasing. And not just for THIS album, but even in the last albums released.

This is even coming from a HUGE ex R.Kelly fan. I don't even bother to listen to the music anymore. I listen to the 1st singles, realize he on the same shit again, and don't go back to hear more. If I owned a label, I would make sure I promoted quality. Except for the case for a current hit maker. I would push that crap to get my money if it was making me money.

Make another "R. Kelly" and I would make SURE the shit goes platinum....

That's because he don't have that big blockbuster budget like back then. He can't go get these great songs and act like he wrote them all.

This is why I hate when Brandy gets dragged for not focusing on her music- the industry is not built for them to win anymore. She has six albums under her belt, she doesn't HAVE to release any more music. Most artists will tap out way before she did. She always has acting to fall back on.
