One thing that blacks like him may misunderstand is that not every black wants a seat at that surburban table

I grew up in the hood and I'm very proud of it cuz it's part of who I am

Obviously it's not the safest place to live (especially for a gal like me  sfffsfsfsfssf  ) and I'm fortunate enough to not be forced to stay there as an adult

But I rep Southside up down and all around.

Materialism and the overall worship of money is a big reason why people feel jealous when others explain that they didn't grow up in the hood.

If you don't hold money and material things in such high regard it won't bother you when you hear others don't really have a problem with that, or have never had a problem with it. Unless they're obviously just being a dickhead or something.
