No, it's true.

Black ppl take pride in being hood or from the ghetto. Sorry I can't relate.

Yes, and living comfortably. Is that a problem? Are you anti black?

Yes, because he opened the door for "the others", and those pretending to be black (which is a lot), to chime in. I don't see why our brorhers and sisters do this on social media. You open that door up for them to talk mess. Sorry, I'm just not gonna do that.

I see what they're saying
Lots of our people do suffer from the "crabs in the barrel" mentality.
It's almost like your environment and upbringing are the only things that solidify your blackness rather than your culture, ethicnity and race ect
You're not "black" or "black enough"  unless you've had a rough and poor upbringing

Funny you say this when you've been calling me a cracker for almost two years.

The biggest issue is that black people still try so hard to impress white people. A lot of our problems aren't problems and some of our problems we don't wanna talk about because we are scared whites are listening.

It always goes back to white people. It's like even when we're not putting them on top of the hierarchical ladder we still do it subconsciously. It's like how niggas will get in a few bad relations and start denouncin the whole black race and talking about going to white people yet Molly and Brian kept breaking up all year because Brian can't stop fucking new sorority girls and Molly is addicted to meth.

Rent ain't cheap, I live in NYC and I have a salary job so them niggas spiked my shit up way high so I'm paying more than the average around here but they can't kick me out. I get no benefits from living here and I'm in a circumstance where I cannot leave just YET.

However, I do live comfortably in the sense that despite living in the hood I keep my apartment looking like something, there hasn't been any major crime in over 10-15 years and I'm located in a very convenient area to go to work/travel/shop/support my family members nearby/etc. would love to move out of my building itself because the shit if terrible to walk into but due to some circumstances, again, I can't right now.

The hood is literally injected into a lot of mess you fags love.

QuoteHip hop as both a musical genre and a culture was formed during the 1970s when block parties became increasingly popular in New York City, particularly among African-American youth residing in the Bronx. However hip-hop music did not get officially recorded for the radio or television to play until 1979, largely due to poverty during hip-hop's birth and lack of acceptance outside ghetto neighborhoods

Say her fucking name.
An entire damn culture, compliments of the damn ghetto.

One thing that blacks like him may misunderstand is that not every black wants a seat at that surburban table

And on the flip side they are correct. Why do they need their black cards revoked regardless of their behavior.

This topic needs to be on Red Table Talk
