The thing is, I don't mind the cliches and stereotypes Tyler uses. I get him wanting to use those as a device to push a deeper message and relate to this audience. And whether we wanna admit it or not, those storylines are an everyday reality for a lot of black folks.

The problem is he doesn't know how to pace his storylines or flesh out characters beyond being archetypes. A writing staff could help him do this, and he'll get to stay true to whatever moral lessons he wants to push on his fans.

I'm here for it. He does so much for the Black community on so many levels
He wants this aspect of his career to himself, so be it.

A lot of the people throwing stones at him for the mess don't even lift a finger for anything Black
Don't contribute to Black causes, never show true concern for Black economic health in general unless it's some torch lighting party against Tyler on TWITTER....sfsfsfsff :plzstop: :plzstop:

Like, shut the fuck up.

It's all a kii ultimately.
Do you think Tyler depicts black people and black story telling in a favourably way?
By favorable , do you mean more "classy"?

Let's really define that.

Because Madea def reminds me of my grandmother. It's real.

Do I walk around mispronouncing common words like my grandmother? No. Because she made sure her kids and grandkids were set up to be more and accomplish more than she had.

And that's the reality for a lot of us Blacks who are not far removed from the Great Migration....older generations who left the south for more opportunity in the north and further northwest.

So am I embarrassed by Madea? Hell fucking no. Cuz that means that there are elements of my own grandmother that are embarrassing. I kii at Madea cuz it's funny.

And I have no issue with Tyler doing this cuz clearly he's a Great Migration descendant himself. How else is the shit so spot on? And what the fuck is there to be embarrassed or up in arms about. He also represents later generations of Blacks that are accomplished lawyers, entrepreneurs, CEOs....There's more than one type of Black person represented.

sdsfdfsdfsdfddsfds And ultimately, it's entertainment. Are we APPALLED by the way Black women are represented on Bravo? Are you faggots sitting here calling for the dismantling of RHOA? Or are we digging in, getting or kii's in and finding ways to RELATE to each of the characters in some way?

Fuck outta here. When you fags start getting at Bravo and other media outlets which fail to show Black people sitting around sipping high tea, speaking perfect English and hugging each other...Then we can really chat.

I dunno but that part has me on the floor
