If a certain artist doesn't use, or they have no vested interest in a certain song winning, it can change everything. It's like if Matthew Knowles were in the committee again, or Alicia's former manager sdddd

As much as I LOVE Hard Place, instantly when I first heard it (in my top 10 for songs in 2019 for sure), I never in my wildest dreams expected it to get that nomination.

Song Of The Year is a songwriters award though - its not Record of the Year, so maybe her nomination is legit.

Also, this Grammy CEO is speaking about the 2019 nominees - I think Shawn Mendes' song was the song that just didn't belong one bit.

I would care if I actually looked to those awards as some sort of measure of quality or talent, but I don't, so...

The Grammys are always a mixed bag though. One year it's about hit songs, and the next year it's about artistic integrity and songwriting sssdd
