Case definitely had the advantage in 2001 over Sisqo. He was coming off two Top 10 hits (Livin' It Up, Missing You).

However labels often did that and Def Soul seen Sisqo as the bigger artist and star, plus he had more of a commercial appeal than Case too. Such a shame how Def Soul fucked him over.

Uh...Dru Hill were a popular, if not the most popular group and Sisqo was the lead singer. No way Def Jam were gonna prioritise Case who was essentially a one hit wonder at that point.

I get all that and I wouldn't call Case a one hit wonder since he went on to have more hits beyond Touch Me, Tease Me.

I agree.

By 2001, he also had "Faded Pictures", "Happily Ever After" and "The Best Man I Can Be"

I really missed the impact of Faded and Best Man. Have no idea what I was doing but I never really heard these songs but I lived for Happily Ever After.

They used to play "Faded" out in NY, I remember constantly hearing it on Hot 97 and 107.5

Sisqó stresses me out It's like... there's a such thing as TOO much energy to me. He's on 10 all the time in his music :udontlookok:
I just went and saw Joe a couple of months back and dru hill was one of the openers. This 50 year old Faggot was flipping and mess all across the stage. My friend and I were like
:udontlookok:

He is definitely not a one hit wonder.

Mary's label was trash for pulling her vocals off of the tracks she was involved with. This MTL version w/ Mary is wayyyy better than the album version
