Yooo I'm listening to Camouflage now!!!! This inspirational, self worth song... this was her Unpretty!!! She should've had a big moment
:stressed:

Torn Down was it for me  :stressed:
I still kinda HATE them for not releasing Fall.
That was the best follow up to RHD if they were going the ballad route.

Torn fucking DOWN. I have to repeat that song at least three times before moving on to the next.

Yeah...Bran doesn't even acknowledge Human dbdbnd
I would love to hear those singles. She kinda stopped performing PID, too.
If I got a 2020 version of this

:gorlonfire:
BITCH

It's the adlib at the end for me fggggggggg

She started digging into human and songs like "Torn down" on Snapchat but she's always loved that one. She listens to herself like a fan and it's so funny to me  :kii:

"Wow I'm really liking this now" dcggggggg  :uhh:

RHD (with Long Distance's visual), The Definition, Warm It Up, Camouflage/Torn Down

Those were the singles.
:stressed:

NOW THIS!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry guys. But during that era, I felt she shoulda released Piano Man as the 2nd single to get her ass back on the Urban charts. Some of us may not be a big fan of it now, but back then, it was the wave (the female version of Usher's Love In This Club if you will and also reminiscent of NeYo's Single). And just toss T-Pain on a remix mess.

Camouflage, Torn Down, etc wouldnt have really had a chance on radio. Then after she could close out the era with Camo.

I hated Piano Man soooo much. I hate it even more now :dead:

I still feel like Fall could've been a lil sum for Bran

It was the only song on the album that tied in with what was going on at the time. Fall is nice, but wouldnt have done much. Pop woulnt have touched it and Urban def wouldnt. And its too wordy in the chorus.

Let's just call it what it is. Rodney was giving away his good shit to other artists and giving Brandy "Mary Mary" leftovers.

I can understand why she wouldn't add Human songs to her set list. It's a complete deviation from traditional Brandy, which was kinda the issue in the first place

Idk who to blame for the direction of that album.
hmmm nah, I'm still not feeling that excuse cuz she doesn't take the time to arrange Afrodisiac songs for the stage either

She just needs to hunker down and give fans what they want if she wants to have the best show possible. BUT I'm in stan mode right now so i won't rag on her for it

It wasn't the direction that was her problem, it was her lack of dedication  .

Ehhh it was too pop. Although her voice was phenomenal, it didn't feel like a Brandy album at all. I think she could have had some pop success with a different second single, but the album overall wasn't the right path. I mean, from Afrodisiac to Human??? She know damn well :dead:

Someone that wrote one of the songs on the album told me that Epic records wanted to market her as the black Celine Dion

The executives literally sat up and said that. I kid you not.

Im glad Bran lashed him, but she accepted the mess so....
I know she was pissed with him after Full Moon cuz she felt like he was giving their sound away to other artists. Then they got on better terms and he gave her his mediocre mess.

TBH Long Distance was just a bad follow up... she should've did a super cool campaign around Camouflage or picked up the pace a bit with The Definition or 1st and Love

Bitch! Even Warm It Up would've been a better 2nd single
:stressed:
i think the major problem is that she held back vocally on that single

The second she did it LIVE?! That's how it should've damn been. She couldn't wait to R&B it up  :kii:

She should have let us fucking HAVE it. But it's still one of my favorite albums for so many reasons. My favorite vocals, idc idc idc

Wooooo my GOD. And she had a hat on because that terrible wig was about to fly off  :kii:

She asked a fan in the audience if she could wear his hat. Ndndjfxccc
