I don't know what's going on but I'm not gonna hide my opinion. The song isn't good....... like at all.  But what did i miss

I think this is the first time I've agreed with you on something 

It honestly gives me the same feeling as Sadiddy. Cute for a bop around but ultimately skippable. I hate that though. I'm super disappointed. It's been 8 years and I was REALLY looking forward to stanning this but I'm not gonna force it if it's not there. Between that and most of the album being produced by Camper, and a Sy'rai duet, I just don't have any excitement for the project anymore.

I'm really bummed, and I get how the disappointment makes the gorls lash out. Shit, I had playlists set up on three platforms to stream up on this song and I deleted em all after I heard it a few times  Not gonna stan if it's not genuine 

And I respect this.

I just really wish I could say I genuinely love the song

Once I heard Freedom Rings, I prepared myself not to like anything she released and to be ok with it. I will always support with a purchase - but I can't promise a stream if I don't like it.

I know it's a culture and people like to have fun and kii I.e. The Shaderoom, Brandysource, but these people with platforms are human beings who take their work seriously (some not all) and I think we as consumers can collectively work together to be more sensitive about how we choose to express our thoughts or critiques.

Some love the record, some don't. Life goes on, but be intentional about your critique. Not accusing any of you of this behaviour. This is me just pouring my thoughts here.

I think that's where I am now. Trying to be more realistic and preparing myself for the possibility that the album won't be good (to met at least). It sucks ass though. I was really counting on all those other producers she worked with to swoop in and save the day
