I wouldnt go that far. Monica has repeatedly spoke highly of Brandy and her music and talent and respects her work A LOT. Every time Brandy's name pops up in an interview, she uses the opportunity to gloat about her talent. So Im not gonna agree with this one.

If anything, I think its Brandy's time to show Monica some love. If she rly wants the battle to happen, she gotta start publicly giving her some love as well.

Monica has publicly admitted on her reality show and bragged about the fact that she's nice nasty. She prides herself on it. i know she shows love, dont get me wrong but   


She gets her lil jabs in with "its the only grammy we have together" and blah blah so lets not sit up and act like the "gloating" didn't used to have different elements to it. Its not time for Brandy to do shit 

neither of them are innocent daisies. All they need to do is respect each other and come together when it's time to do so and especially before the celebration battles if they ever talk again.

thats a weird question. And Brandy literally posted Monica's first single on her instagram page in 2015  she posted 'Just right for me" JUST before Code red came out and wrote the longest caption, reminiscing about the good times they shared WITH "just right for me" playing in the video. 

THEN Monica started posting Brandy on her page by posting her spread in uptown magazine and showed love to beggin n pleadin a year later. Clearly something happened after that and its when Brandy recorded new vocals for "The girl is mine" per wishes of Atlantic records, because they owned the rights to everything at the time. The UK artists really wanted the sample cleared at the time and so she did it.

All Im saying is that since Monica is a bit hesitant to do the battle because of her fears of it being a "battle" and them competing again, it would be nice if maybe Brandy can say "I think Monica is great, she has done some amazing records in R&B and I'm down to do the battle so we can celebrate our music together". That's all 

Even that clip TSR posted, Monica complimented Brandy. Meanwhile, u got some ppl tryna dissect the Brandy shrug and sayin its her being shady. my thing is, a lot of us don't want Brandy to be fake and then get mad when she seems to be overcompensating and possibly being fake. sdddsdssd no need to say what you dont mean if you dont mean it

But i agree with you. She would have to do that to ease a lot of minds because she's sheaded her in the past online like i said earlier. We dont disagree 

Im just glad she isn't saying something she doesn't mean, positive or negative. She basically echoed Monica's sentiments about wanting it to be a celebration over and over and now this was the final time and we can leave it at that until they speak with each other

Also, Timbaland had just spoken to Brandy and said the papers for the battle were sent in and locked down, so she's all in.  If she heard Monica didn't wanna do it, she likely heard that after talking to Swizz and Timbaland.

I actually know for a fact that they've seen the other brandy interviews over the last two weeks where she spoke highly of her, but they were waiting for a video like this one with a little shrug or something they could really pick apart.
