Monica always says this:
QuoteMore R&B artists need to support each other. Real support means touring together, forming alliances, dropping the ego and competitive spirit and rising up together. This means so-called mainstream R&B artists that get those major looks at radio or television need to reach out and down; to uplift someone else. Hip Hop gets it! Rap artists support each other. They are the perfect example of combining resources, forming alliances and winning together.

And i agree.  Especially the R&B females ...  their competitive spirit isn't in a healthy way. They all hate on, and shade each other   :dead: Lalah Hathaway sits up on twitter and does it all the time
what R&B females are hating on each other right now?

That sounds kinda lame tbh.

Does anybody really want to see Frank go on tour with sTank?
or Bey on tour with some random R&B gorl ? and the competitiveness makes things interesting.

it hurts more than helps. And obviously it wouldn't be random like the examples you just gave. The Styles should mesh

Rnb music needs to reinvent itself. Create a new genre, incorporate new elements, explore new horizons.

People are just sick of all these delayed acrobatic vocals, all these same delayed ass beats and the imagery that goes with it.

what R&B females are hating on each other right now?

What R&B females do u see touring and promoting together doing duets? And with major names like Bey & Rih?

It's not happening. R&B doesn't have the voice it use to have.

I really hope Tamar and Mo keep their word and tour together. They could be a force if they do this right. Old & New school R&B

I mean the fact that a lot of them have to text their friends to mention their album is tragic :kii:

The competitiveness is late, IMO.

I don't agree with the end only because ppl are working together
I just posted Tank, & Jazmine touring together for a few dates
Chris & Trey toured together, Usher & August
I mean ppl are working together and still no one is buying
there isn't enough of it happening

especially with the females. We need WAY more of that

there are plenty of R&B artist that are not like that
and they still don't sell

and if ppl are over acrobatic vocals
why is Adele selling like hot cakes? Ariana Grande, Jessie J, Tori Kelly etc?

Dance hasn't changed
Rock hasn't changed
Country hasn't changed

R&B shouldn't change to become relevant. I get the exploring new sounds part but they need to stay true to themselves as well

:plzstop:

unless one of them makes the first move, they are NOT about to promote the other girls mess. Its so late. Many girls get interviewed about it and say the same

I've seen Ciara, Keri and Monica say it on multiple occasions
