yummy

There needs to be more of a camaraderie between the R&B girls and they shouldn't be afraid to take musical risks.

Major part of the reason why R&B was so hugely successful is because it was a major contrast to the bubblegum pop phase of the late nineties/early 2000's and people were looking for something new.

not when no one is checking for the genre.

do you feel rnb is too hard to grasp these days meaning some songs are too wordy

ppl want simple shit they can single along easy too and something they feel like THEY sound good singing

i mean taylor swift anyone can sing that she isnt even vocals or range or good lyrics but her choruses are catchy and are easy to sing along too .. same with most of the billboard top 10

cause baby we got bad blood
you know it used to be mad love
so take a look at what youve done
cause baby now we got bad blood

are we outta the woods yet
are we outta the woods yet
are we outta the woods yet
are we in the clear yet
are we in the clear yet

haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate
players gonna play play play play play

i wonder if rnb artist made silly childish lyrics like that would it sell??
maybe they are trying to hard
Maybe, but you still have ur alternative girls that sell very well. I think people just want something they can sing along too. People dont wanna "sang" along, they wanna casually sing along

yep i agree! thats what i want for bran tbh we know she can SANGG we have 6 albums of that but i want queen to give his one more top 10 with one of those catchy songs

Like, I'm looking at RCA's roster right now, and they could take their R&B girls:

- Jazmine
- Fantasia
- Jennifer Hudson
- Monica
- Elle Varner

Book them an arena date and give them a chance to show out a bit.
Price the tickets reasonably and I think all of them combined could do it.

i think thats tooo many .. i think maybe just 2 at a time would be better but not 5 girls

you dont see white girls doing that

To fill an arena with 15,000 seats I think it would be a safer bet to book all of them.
Maybe cut out Elle and just go with the other 4. Give them each a 30 minute set
and I think they could slay.

Boy. Not when you go up for the most generic poppy, glow stick mess out there.

I honestly don't think you're a fan of R&B music in general outside of a couple of people.

And that's no shade. It's just a vibe I get.

gorl u dont know me .. u dont even know any music i stan for besides bey and bran .. gorl sit down somewhere

tigernathan

They wouldn't fill 15k seats tbh. Maybe, half.

BAPHOMET.

yeah, a 15k audience for those ladies mentioned is PUSHING it.
7k is what i'd say. Fan' and Mon' being the ones bringing most of the people in.

Even if the tickets are priced at $50 or less?

SUPREME

Miguel Frank and Weeknd really brought a special attention to "r&b"

I think there's still something there. I wish the women could get in on it.

They would need a big name to headline :uhh:

whatever

I think they need to branch off and work with different writers/producers.

Create a concept album. Different visuals. I haven't seen a video from an r&b female that I liked in so long...

Come out the gate with a multi format smash and then release urban as the next singles? Sort of like what Akeys did with "Girl on fire."

But honestly some of our faves are in their mid 30's....Time is almost up to be honest.
